Anne-Marie Duff was born in London in London. She is an English actress. Duff was a graduate of Drama Centre London in 1990 she made her debut television appearances with Trial & Retribution Amongst Women as well as Aristocrats. Anne-Marie Duff is a Britsih actress born on 08 October 1970 in Chiswick, London, United Kingdom. Anne-Marie Duff (born 8 October 1970) is an English stage and screen actress. The actress became well-known for her character Fiona Gallagher in the first two seasons UK TV series Shameless. The Virgin Queen (2006) was her subsequent role. Also, she appeared as Queen Elizabeth I as well as the lead in From Darkness, a television series that aired in 2015. Duff's filmography comprises Enigma (2001), The Magdalene Sisters and notes on the Scandal (2006) French Film (2007) The Last Station Nowhere Boy Before I go to Sleep (2014) and Suffragette in 2015. The actress was nominated for BAFTA awards for Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress in Shameless The Virgin Queen. In addition to that she received the BAFTA Cymru Award in Best Actress in 2007 for her performance in the TV film The History of Mr Polly. Anne-Marie Duff excels as an English award-winning actress. Her work has included performances on theatre, radio and television equally well. The actress gained a lot of attention due to her roles in the role of Fiona Gallagher on the British comedy drama television show Shameless as well as Queen Elizabeth as Queen Elizabeth in The Virgin Queen.
